Senior IFS ERP Solutions Architect (Technical & Functional)

Adastra Resource Group has been exclusively retained by a global manufacturing organization undergoing a business-critical transformation from IFS Applications to IFS Cloud . To lead this pivotal initiative, Adastra is seeking a Senior IFS ERP Solutions Architect to own solution strategy, technical design, and cross-functional ERP alignment.
This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced IFS professional who can operate across both functional and technical domains. The successful candidate will guide enterprise-wide architecture, drive IFS Cloud adoption, and lead a team of Business Analysts while ensuring integration across all operational systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect and deliver scalable, enterprise-level IFS Cloud ERP solutions aligned with business goals

Lead and mentor a team of IFS Business Analysts , ensuring functional requirements translate into well-executed system capabilities

Oversee the design, development, and deployment of IFS CRIMs —including custom events, workflows, logical units, and security configurations

Define and manage ERP integration strategies between IFS and core systems (e.g., CRM, PLM, WMS, and shipping platforms)

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics to align system functionality with business processes

Act as the primary decision-maker for all solution architecture across the IFS ecosystem

Manage vendor and partner relationships throughout the IFS Cloud upgrade lifecycle
? Ideal Experience:
- 7+ years of IFS ERP experience —with proven success in both technical and functional roles
- 2+ years as an IFS Solutions Architect , including at least one full lifecycle IFS Cloud upgrade (v23 or v24R2 preferred)

Deep knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business flows

Demonstrated leadership of ERP project teams, particularly Business Analysts and Technical Consultants

Extensive experience with IFS CRIM development, configuration, and customization

Proven ability to guide enterprise transformation and change management initiatives

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across business and IT teams

Experience with Configure-to-Order (CTO) environments

Familiarity with Oracle database architecture and IFS development tools

Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid ERP delivery methodologies
