POSITION TITLE: IFS Technical Solutions Architect

This role offers the chance to leverage strong IFS analytical and technical skills to solve complex business problems while identifying, evaluating, and implementing systems and applications that support the client’s business requirements.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, and IFS business analysts to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development.

Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models.

Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.

Develop long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software.

Ensure proposed and existing technical architectures align with organizational goals and objectives.

Provide IFS architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to IFS Systems Analysts, IFS Systems Engineers, other IFS Systems Architects, and IFS software development teams.

Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost-effectiveness and systems flexibility.

Review new and existing systems design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plans.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred).

6+ years of IFS experience in technical architecture.

Functional understanding of enterprise-wide business systems (e.g., order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report).

Experience with Oracle Database technology and SQL.

Demonstrable experience with PL/SQL, REST, JSON, and API development.

IFS Applications development experience is essential.

Strong analytical skills and a technical mindset.

Must be US-based and legally authorized to work in the US.
