Job Title: IFS Technical / Functional Business Analyst / Power BI SME

Opportunity Description:
Adastra Resource Group has been retained exclusively by a client undergoing a new IFS implementation to source an IFS Technical / Functional Business Analyst / Power BI SME . This role is remote, but candidates must be open to travel as required.

Our client is seeking a skilled professional to address significant gaps in their systems and reporting capabilities. With their current IT team lacking expertise in IFS and Power BI, the organization is looking for a candidate who can deliver immediate impact by developing and optimizing their data and reporting infrastructure.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and integrations.
• Build and optimize SQL-based reporting models.
• Lead Power BI integration projects within an IFS environment.
• Establish robust data governance and data management practices tailored to the manufacturing industry.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and visualizations that drive decision-making.
• Ensure system security, database integrity, and seamless integration between Power BI and IFS.

1. Extensive IFS expertise, particularly with version 24R2.
2. Proven experience with Power BI, including reporting, dashboard creation, and integration into IFS.
3. Strong technical background in IFS security, databases, reporting, and integrations.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead Power BI integration projects.
5. Experience in data governance and data management within a manufacturing environment.
6. General business acumen in a manufacturing setting.
7. Willingness to travel as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience in SQL scripting and database management.
• Expertise in DAX queries and advanced data analysis techniques.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
