IFS Sr BA - Manufacturing Techno/Functional

Now Hiring: IFS Business Analyst (Techno/Functional – Manufacturing Focus) Position Overview
We are seeking a  Techno/Functional IFS Business Analyst  with strong expertise in  IFS Manufacturing and related modules . This role requires hands-on experience configuring, customizing, and optimizing  IFS Apps 10 and IFS Cloud . The ideal candidate is a  jack-of-all-trades  with the ability to both analyze business requirements and deliver technical solutions within IFS.

This position will focus on  Manufacturing, MRP, MSO (Manufacturing Scheduling & Optimization), MSR (Maintenance Scheduling & Repair), Supply Chain, and Finance , with future involvement in  CRM implementation . The analyst will ensure IFS is being fully leveraged, identify gaps, and implement technical improvements that align with best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support IFS modules:  Manufacturing, MRP, MSO, MSR, Supply Chain, Finance , and CRM (future).

• Design and implement  IFS business rules, workflows, events, and custom fields  to support business requirements.

• Develop and maintain  custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts  using IFS tools (e.g.,  Lobby Designer, Quick Reports, Data Migration toolsets ).

• Collaborate with technical teams on  PL/SQL, APIs, and IFS integrations  with third-party systems (e.g., MES, CRM, warehouse systems).

• Perform  gap analysis  between business needs and current system usage; recommend and implement configuration changes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve  system defects, performance issues, and data integrity problems .

• Support  MRP and MSO optimization : parameter tuning, scheduling rules, resource constraints, and capacity planning.

• Ensure proper usage of  MSR  for maintenance planning and scheduling.

• Provide input on  system upgrades and patches  (Apps 10 ? Cloud), including regression testing and validation.

• Document system configuration, processes, and technical solutions; deliver end-user training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IFS ERP experience , with a primary focus on  Manufacturing modules .

• Strong techno/functional skills with IFS  Apps 10 and Cloud .

• Proficiency in:
• MSO (Manufacturing Scheduling & Optimization)
• MRP (Material and Resource Planning)
• MSR (Maintenance Scheduling & Repair)
• CRIMS
