POSITION TITLE: IFS Project Manager REPORTS TO: Director of Project Management
JOB DESCRIPTION: As an IFS Project Manager, you will be a vital driver of successful customer engagements, overseeing the complete lifecycle of IFS ERP implementations. This role combines project management expertise, team leadership, strong business acumen, and effective communication skills. You will inspire and lead cross-functional teams of functional, technical, and administrative experts to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and organize IFS ERP implementation efforts for both new and existing clients.
- Develop detailed project work plans, schedules, estimates, forecasts, and earned value plans.
- Ensure timely and professional completion of all project deliverables.
- Maintain adherence to project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Foster proactive communication with management, project teams, and customers.
- Manage projects in alignment with the signed Statement of Work (SOW) with the client.
- Monitor project progress to meet customer and company deadlines.
- Ensure implementation quality aligns with customer expectations and organizational standards.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and discretion when handling various business scenarios.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on ERP implementations.
- 2+ years of direct experience with ERP systems, particularly IFS.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex technical environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong aptitude for learning quickly.
- Excellent communication skills to define and direct team efforts effectively.
- Proven ability to utilize flexibility and creativity to present diverse solutions.
- Experience with IFS ERP implementations as a customer or as part of an implementation team is highly advantageous.
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management technologies is a plus.
- Must be based in the US and legally authorized to work in the region.
