Brent is seeking a Functional IFS Business Analyst with strong experience in Engineering and Manufacturing to support a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with IFS Apps 10 and Cloud , and proven experience with Configure-to-Order (CTO) manufacturing processes .
A key focus of this role will be assessing and advising on the integration of SolidWorks CAD with IFS to eliminate manual data entry. The client is currently on IFS Apps 10 with plans to move to IFS Cloud 25R2 , and this consultant will play a critical role in guiding best practices during this transition.
Responsibilities:-
Serve as a functional SME for IFS Engineering and Manufacturing processes.

Analyze and document current processes for CTO manufacturing and CAD (SolidWorks) integration.

Recommend and support best-practice solutions for integrating SolidWorks with IFS.

Partner with technical teams to validate integration approaches and ensure system optimization.

Provide hands-on functional support for IFS Apps 10 with forward-looking guidance for IFS Cloud 25.

Act as liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure requirements are captured and delivered.
- 5+ years of IFS functional experience , with expertise in Engineering and Manufacturing.

Strong background with IFS Apps 10 and experience supporting or implementing IFS Cloud .

Knowledge of CTO manufacturing processes within IFS.

Prior experience with CAD (SolidWorks) integration into IFS or similar systems.

Strong business analysis skills – able to capture requirements, advise on best practices, and deliver clear documentation.
