Finance & Accounting Analyst – IFS ERP (Cloud Focused)

Adastra Resource Group has been exclusively retained by a multinational manufacturing client—a recognized leader within their industry—to identify a Finance & Accounting Analyst with hands-on IFS ERP experience to support a major systems reimplementation from IFS Apps 7 to IFS Cloud .
This is a high-impact role that sits within the operational finance team and plays a key part in the digital transformation of the company’s global finance systems.
About the Role
You will work closely with Finance leadership and the ERP implementation team to ensure that financial processes, reporting, and internal controls are accurately configured and optimized in IFS Cloud.
This is not a standard business analyst role—our client is seeking a finance professional with real-world operational finance experience, strong systems knowledge, and a hands-on approach to leveraging the full potential of IFS ERP.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert in IFS Finance modules , including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing, Project Accounting, Budgeting, and Cash Management.

Support a major IFS Cloud reimplementation initiative, including configuration, data validation, testing, and go-live activities.

Collaborate with finance, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure accurate and efficient financial system design.

Analyze financial data and assist in month-end, budgeting, and financial reporting cycles.

Ensure compliance with finance controls and reporting standards.

Work closely with the Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Controller to support broader operational and strategic finance initiatives.
What We're Looking For

Proven experience with IFS Finance modules – ideally including IFS Cloud or Apps 10.

Strong background in finance operations, accounting principles, and reporting best practices.

Experience working within or alongside ERP project teams (especially reimplementations or upgrades).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Strong Excel and analytical skills.
