Senior IFS Specialist (Techno-Functional) / IFS Systems Manager

We’re seeking a Senior IFS Specialist with techno-functional expertise to take ownership of the IFS environment across the enterprise. You’ll lead functional design, technical configuration, integration, and system optimization across IFS Cloud and Applications 10 — playing a central role in enabling operational excellence through smart, scalable IFS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  IFS System Ownership

• Act as the internal IFS Subject Matter Expert (SME), owning system design, stability, and performance for both IFS Cloud and Apps 10

• Configure and maintain core IFS modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, and Service Management

• Tailor system using IFS-native tools: custom fields, lobby pages, workflows, events, permission sets, and projections

Business Process Improvement

• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to optimize processes using IFS capabilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives grounded in APICS/ASCM , Lean , or Toyota Production System methodologies

IFS System Management

• Manage user roles, profiles, and security configurations using IFS Solution Manager

• Maintain data integrity, monitor background jobs, and oversee upgrades or patches

• Lead functional testing, system audits, and change control across IFS environments

Integration & Reporting

• Support integration between IFS and third-party platforms (eCommerce, CRM, WMS) using tools like IFS Connect , Boomi , and Power Platform

• Design and maintain reports using Crystal Reports , SSRS , and SQL ; support dashboards and real-time analytics

IFS Project Execution

• Lead IFS-related projects including module rollouts, process redesigns, and system enhancements

• Translate business needs into system functionality and ensure alignment across departments

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of IFS experience, including IFS Applications 10 and preferably IFS Cloud

• Proven techno-functional skill set with configuration and light technical capabilities

• Expertise across IFS modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, or Service & Maintenance

• Practical knowledge of IFS system architecture including custom events, API integrations, projections, and security

• Experience with IFS Solution Manager, user setup, role-based access, and permissions

• Strong communication skills with ability to lead business process reviews and system training

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business , or related field

Preferred Experience

• Prior role as an IFS Systems Administrator, IFS Systems Manager , or IFS Project Lead

• Experience supporting audit/compliance requirements and system documentation

• Familiarity with IFS Connect, Developer Studio, REST APIs , and IFS integration strategies

• Experience managing IFS upgrades, patching, and cloud migration planning
