Job Title: ERP Developer

Opportunity Description: We are seeking an ERP Developer to join our team. This position is responsible for the analysis, programming, and support of various computer applications, including the IFS ERP system. The ERP Developer will be expected to acquire a deep understanding of the company’s products, processes, and standards.

Education: An associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in a similar position is preferred.

Experience:

  • Experience with a variety of software technologies is required.
  • Working knowledge of Angular, Java, Python, PL/SQL, TSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of C#, CSS, HTML, and other JavaScript/Typescript frameworks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IFS ERP is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, code, test, and publish projects based on established standards and priorities.
  • Modularize and reuse code where practical to ensure efficiency.
  • Maintain and update the code repository system.
  • Provide support for existing applications as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training for users and staff members on application procedures.
  • Design and develop reports using tools such as Crystal Reports, IFS Quick Reports, and others.
  • Collaborate with IT staff and customers to define projects, solve problems, and understand divisional goals and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison with manufacturers and vendors for ongoing initiatives like EDI or third-party interfaces.
  • Contribute to company growth by acquiring new skills to support projects.
  • Report project status updates in a timely manner using provided tools.
  • Work within an agile/scrum framework to meet project milestones.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction by providing personalized attention to stakeholders’ needs.
  • Proactively identify, document, and resolve issues.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements, document workflows, and define system specifications.
  • Evaluate user requirements and implement solutions through system design, testing, training, and documentation.
  • Provide availability outside regular work hours for maintenance functions, software rollouts, and on-call support as needed.
