Epicor Finance Consultant – Remote (Canada-Based) | Exclusive Search
We’ve been exclusively retained by one of North America’s leading Epicor partners to identify a seasoned Epicor Finance Consultant to join their rapidly growing consulting team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced functional expert in Epicor ERP (v9, v10, or Kinetic) who can advise, configure, and implement financial modules and communicate confidently with finance leadership and executive stakeholders.
Our client has recently secured multiple new Epicor projects and is looking to urgently expand their functional consulting team. If you're a finance-savvy Epicor professional with a passion for client engagement, business process improvement, and ERP transformation, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the primary financial consultant on Epicor ERP projects, leading discovery, configuration, and deployment of finance modules.
- Guide customers through best practice financial process improvements , GAAP/IFRS compliance, and system optimization.
- Support change management throughout the implementation lifecycle and provide expert-level guidance in month-end close, reporting, consolidations, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, project managers, and client stakeholders.
- Lead functional design for customizations, integrations, and financial reporting.
- Build strong relationships with customer finance teams and executive leadership.
- Travel to customer sites across Canada and the U.S. (estimated ~20% with occasional overnight travel).
- Maintain Epicor certification and stay current with evolving ERP best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of Epicor ERP experience , specifically within the Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Budgeting, Multi-Currency, Consolidations).
- Finance or accounting background (CPA/CMA/CA/CGA or equivalent experience strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated success leading or supporting full-cycle Epicor financial implementations .
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or job-shop environments.
- Proven ability to communicate confidently and effectively with CFOs, Controllers, and senior leadership .
- Prior ERP consulting experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong documentation, client presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be based in Canada and willing to travel to customer sites as needed.
